BIOGRAPHY

Having worked as a professional interior designer since 1991, Bradley Blair's own business began at the start of 1996 originally in the gallery showroom of his creation, Lotus Antiquities, on L.A.'s trendy La Brea Avenue, where he purveyed antiques from the Orient, launched his own contemporary line of furniture, and grew his design business. A fourth generation Southern Californian, he has worked on both coasts and in Hawaii, ever expanding his field and body of work. Bradley's focus is on full-scale residential projects emphasizing a comfortable, human, clean lined aesthetic punctuated with judicious collections of fine antiques and art. His sense for color is renowned. His clients include a smattering of celebrities and prominent figures in business, law, health, architecture and the media. Each project is unique to the clients who commission him, and he expresses their lives in a holistic package tailored by his sensibilities and talents. This gives him the freedom to render work of both modern and romantic milieus.

"For me, good design means a room that is pulled together. I use care to balance scale, proportion, form, texture, and color while bringing an interior to life. My work always reflects the lifestyles of those I work for. Getting to know my clients and intuiting what will serve them and their homes best is what excites me."
